Thing # 3

This "Thing" started out great, but after a few days of not getting to a computer or having time; I couldn't find my work?!? I work on 4 different computers, depending on what I am doing. It turned out that Mozilla would not open what I had done on Internet Explorer. I also had troubling finding where the RSSs were. I expected to find them more in the 'open'. With a little help from a friend, I found them.

# 2 Perspectives

A line from a Storyhill song keeps going through my head as I have been reading the perspectives. The line is " The more things change the more they stay the same." Libraries will alway be changing. Librarians will get their patrons what they need. My concern is how do we keep up with all of new technology, which ones will be useful, and what is the most effective use of my time. From the articles I have read it looks like cooperation and collaboration will be our life savers and Web 2.0 is a good example.

I finally finished with Thing #1.
After lots of reading I derailed and went around in circles for a few days. I think it was information overload plus many work related interruptions. Thanks to some blogs I returned to reading and got back on the rails. Hope the next 'Thing' goes better.
